Ceiling Fix:

Inspection and Assessment:

The existing ceiling was thoroughly inspected to identify any damage, such as cracks, holes, water stains, or sagging. The cause of the damage was assessed to ensure proper remediation.

Repair Procedures:

Appropriate repair techniques were employed based on the type and extent of the damage:

Small Cracks and Holes:

These were filled with joint compound, sanded smooth, and primed for painting.

Larger Holes or Damage:

Damaged sections of plasterboard or plaster were cut out and replaced with new material. Joints were taped and filled with joint compound, feathered out, and sanded smooth to create a seamless repair.

Water Stains:

Stains were treated with a stain-blocking primer to prevent bleed-through. The underlying cause of the leak was addressed prior to repair.

Sagging Ceilings:

Depending on the severity, options ranged from adding support screws to re-boarding the entire ceiling.

Surface Preparation:

Once repairs were complete, the entire ceiling surface was prepared for painting, including sanding, cleaning, and priming as necessary to ensure proper paint adhesion and a uniform finish.
